Pet policy
Dogs and cats are welcome at the Outer Banks Motor Lodge in three designated pet-friendly room types, for $35 per pet per night, up to two pets per room.
Pet-friendly room policy
Not all rooms are pet friendly. Pets are only allowed in the property’s **4 three designated pet-friendly room types: PPETKE, PPTQQE and PETKE.
- The pet fee is $35 per pet, per night, added to your account in-house after your reservation is made.
- A maximum of two pets per room.
- Pets must be kept on a leash while on motel property, except inside your own private room.
- Pets must not be left unattended and must be kept in a secure crate whenever they are inside the guest room.
- Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet, on motel property and on the beach. The Outer Banks Motor Lodge complies with the Kill Devil Hills county leash law for pets on the beach.
- Please, no barkers. If a pet’s barking becomes a disturbance to other guests, other arrangements will need to be made — at the guest’s expense.
- A credit card must be on file, regardless of how you choose to pay for your stay.
- Guests are responsible for all property damage and personal injury resulting from their pet. Pet-caused room damage or extraordinary cleaning is charged at the actual assessed cost. There is no fixed amount; it varies by property, room and the nature and extent of the damage or cleaning required.
